You will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of our vessels, delivering exceptional experiences for guests on snorkelling tours and whale-watching charters. You will also operate the M.V Jasmine 17 m luxury bar and dining vessel on the Bruns River.

Safe and qualified operation of vessels

Conducting snorkelling tours and whale-watching charters

Delivering exceptional experiences for guests

Ensuring passenger safety and adherence to safety management procedures

Operating bar crossings, including Ballina and/or Brunswick River Bar
n
About you
n
Current Master 5 and MED 2 qualifications
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in the marine tourism industry
n
Minimum 3 years' experience conducting bar crossings, including Ballina and/or Brunswick River Bar experience preferred
n
Proven commercial vessel operating experience
n
Strong commitment to passenger safety and safety management procedures
n
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a tourism-focused team
n
Current first aid, radio and other relevant commercial marine certifications
n
Reliable, professional attitude and flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
n
