Duty Manager / Customer Service Officer Qualified - Leisure Facilities

Multiple CasualPositions | Latrobe Leisure Moe/Newborough, Morwell and Churchill, YallournNorth and Moe Outdoor Pools

Duty Manager: $46.57 per hour (includes 25% casual loading)

Qualified Customer Service Officer (Lifeguard): $43.09 per hour (includes25% casual loading)

We're looking for Duty Managers to join our LeisureFacilities team. In this role, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of ourleisure centres and outdoor pools, ensuring a safe, welcoming and enjoyableexperience for customers while supporting staff and maintaining highoperational standards across our facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provideleadership and operational oversight of leisure facilities when a LeisureFacilities Leader is not on duty, including supervising rostered staff.
- Ensurethe safety, presentation, cleanliness and smooth operation of indoor andoutdoor leisure facilities.




- Supportcustomers through professional service, responding to enquiries andresolving issues in a timely manner.
- Monitorfacility operations, manage hazards and support emergency responseprocedures when required.
- Undertakelifeguarding duties to ensure the safety and enjoyment of patrons usingaquatic facilities.
- Maintainoperational records, support cash handling processes and contribute to apositive team environment.

About You

You are a confident and motivated leader who enjoys workingwith people and creating positive customer experiences. You thrive in a teamenvironment, communicate effectively and are committed to maintaining safe,welcoming and well-presented facilities.

You bring strong decision-making skills, attention to detailand the ability to remain calm under pressure. Whether supervising staff,supporting customers or responding to operational issues, you take a proactiveand professional approach to your work.

Key Selection Criteria

- Demonstratedability to make sound decisions in line with policies and procedures toensure the safe operation of a facility.
- Experiencein cash handling, computer systems and maintaining accurate records with astrong attention to detail.
- Demonstratedunderstanding of Occupational Health and Safety principles and safe workpractices.
- Demonstratedcommitment to excellent customer service and the ability to workeffectively as part of a team.




- CurrentProvide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or higher)
- CurrentPool Lifeguard Qualification

Desirable Qualifications

- PoolOperations Certificate
- CertificateIII or IV in Fitness

Please note that this role includes facility supervisionresponsibilities and is therefore only available to applicants aged 18 yearsand over.
