ACT HTS Social Research Face-to-face Interviewer

Ipsos, Australia's leading Social Research company, is conducting the ACT & Queanbeyan Household Travel Survey (ACT HTS)

n

To make the ACT HTS project a success, we are looking for committed casual field interviewers to join our team. Work starts 1st week of August and runs Saturday - Sunday until mid-November.

n

In this role, you will undertake the recruitment of selected households for the ACT HTS research study. To ensure the success of the project, you will play a vital role in the completion of travel surveys around the ACT and Queanbeyan.

This study runs every 3-4 years and is a key resource in ACT's transport policy and infrastructure planning and development.

n

Paid training will be provided, and there is potential for high achievers to be trained in supervisory positions.

Requirements

n

n
- Be available to work Saturday AND Sunday at minimum. Additional days may be available.
n
- Have a mobile phone, a current driver's licence, and the right to work in Australia
n




- Be confident and comfortable approaching households to introduce the survey
n
- Be fluent in English and have good communication skills
n
- Be well-presented, reliable, and have excellent attention to detail.
n
- Have access to a reliable vehicle and enjoy driving
n
- Sales, Field, or Census interviewing experience would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
n

$38.43 per hour for fieldwork with an increase in line with FWC Annual wage case in July 2026

n

Kilometres travelled paid at $0.98 per km.

Fully paid training

n

Approximately 18 hours per week (this may vary from week to week).
