About the Role

n

Metro Roller Door Service is a growing Australian company specialising in the manufacture, supply, installation and servicing of roller shutter doors.

n

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing factory in Campbellfield.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong manufacturing experience who can manage production, staff, quality and deadlines while ensuring the factory operates efficiently and safely.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage the day-to-day production operations of the manufacturing facility
n
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer and installation deadlines
n
- Supervise and support factory staff and allocate daily workloads
n
- Monitor production progress and ensure jobs are completed on time
n
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
n
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications
n
- Manage stock levels and coordinate material requirements
n
- Monitor and minimise material wastage
n
- Identify production issues and implement practical solutions
n
- Ensure machinery,



tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly
n
- Ensure all workplace health and safety requirements are followed
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and effective factory environment
n
- Work closely with management, purchasing and installation teams
n
- Assist with improving production processes and overall factory efficiency
n
- Ensure production records and paperwork are kept up to date
n

About You

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a Production Manager, Factory Manager or Manufacturing Supervisor role
n
- Experience managing a manufacturing or fabrication environment
n
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
n
- The ability to plan and prioritise multiple jobs
n
- A strong understanding of quality control and production processes
n
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
n
- A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved on the factory floor
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
