About the role

n

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Casual Manufacturing Assistant to join our well-established and diverse Manufacturing Team at our Scoresby facility.

n

Reporting to the Lead Manufacturing, you will assist with daily manufacturing activities, including roasting, packing quality products and preparing materials for storage and dispatch.

n

You will help the team meet production targets while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

n

Key responsibilities

n

- Assist with daily manufacturing activities
n
- Operate and support roasting and packing equipment
n
- Help achieve daily production and throughput targets
n
- Follow food safety, quality and GMP procedures
n




- Complete production records and basic data entry
n
- Identify and report production or quality issues
n
- Maintain clean, safe and efficient work areas
n
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Warehouse and other teams
n
- Prepare products and materials for storage and dispatch
n
- Provide general support to the Manufacturing Team as required
n

About you

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in food production
n
- Familiarity with roasting, packing or similar manufacturing equipment
n
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
n
- Good attention to detail and a process-focused approach
n
- Basic data-entry and record-keeping skills
n
- A reliable, hands-on attitude and strong work ethic
n
- The ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role
n
- Flexibility to work casual shifts based on manufacturing requirements
n
- Previous leadership or team coordination experience will be highly regarded
n

Qualifications

n

n
- A Certificate in Food Processing is preferred but not essential
n
- Other relevant qualifications will be highly regarded
n
