Full-Time Cleaning Supervisor – Townsville

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Cleaning Supervisor to support our expanding Townsville operations.

This is a permanent full‑time position working 38 hours per week across commercial and government client sites throughout Townsville.

About the Role

You will oversee the daily delivery of cleaning services across multiple locations while working alongside and supporting our cleaning teams. The position combines hands‑on cleaning, staff supervision, quality assurance and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and support cleaners across multiple Townsville sites
- Perform commercial cleaning duties when required
- Allocate daily tasks and ensure all scheduled services are completed
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Train and onboard recent employees
- Monitor attendance, performance and compliance
- Manage cleaning equipment, chemicals and consumable supplies
- Report service issues, incidents and maintenance requirements
- Communicate professionally with clients and management
- Ensure compliance with WHS procedures and company standards

Work Schedule

- Permanent full‑time position, 38 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
- Flexibility to work daytime and evening shifts when required
- Travel between multiple sites throughout Townsville




- Additional hours may be required to meet operational needs

Remuneration

A competitive full‑time salary will be offered based on experience and qualifications, underpinned by the Cleaning Services Award, plus superannuation.

Requirements

- Previous commercial cleaning experience
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead, train and motivate cleaning teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel between Townsville sites
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current National Police Check, issued within the last 12 months, as required for client sites
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and manual handling duties
- Good written and verbal English communication skills for safety, reporting and client communication
- Ability to use mobile applications for rostering, reporting and inspections
- Willingness to complete mandatory WHS and compliance training
- Full Australian working rights
