JTA Health, Safety & Noise Specialists is seeking an experienced Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Auditor to join our Melbourne team.
n
You will conduct routine and invasive asbestos and hazardous materials audits across commercial, industrial, retail and government properties.

About the role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Division 5 asbestos audits and register updates
n
- Division 6 and invasive refurbishment or demolition surveys
n
- Hazardous materials audits
n
- Sampling and coordination of laboratory analysis
n
- Preparing clear technical reports and practical recommendations
n
- Managing projects and providing advice directly to clients
n
n
About you
n
You will have:
n
n
- At least four years' experience conducting routine and invasive asbestos audits
n
- Strong asbestos and hazardous materials identification skills
n
- Knowledge of Victorian asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
n
- The ability to independently conduct assessments and prepare quality reports
n
- Be willing to travel as required to service national contracts
n
- Strong client communication skills
n
- A current Australian driver's licence
n
n
Asbestos assessor qualifications, occupational hygiene experience and skilled memberships will be highly regarded.
