Security Technician or A-grade Electrician – High End Residential

The role

n

Reporting to a Project Manager in our Security & Integration division, you'll cover installation, programming, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance across Victoria.

n

Install, program and commission CCTV, alarm, access control and intercom systems.

n

Configure IP networks, remote monitoring and client apps, then hand over and train the client.

n

Service and upgrade existing systems, including legacy gear

n

Work from plans and specs, and keep accurate commissioning and service records.

Work alongside our electricians and automation techs from rough-in to final handover.

What you'll work with

n

Dahua CCTV and VMS (including LPR), Inner Range access control and intruder, Bosch alarm and security, and Control4 automation and home theatre. Plus Gallagher access control, intercoms, alarm monitoring, and exposure to C-Bus, KNX, Dynalite and DALI lighting control.

About you

n

Minimum 4 years' hands–on electronic security experience

n

Programming and commissioning skills, not installation only

n

Strong IP networking and independent fault-finding ability

n

Excellent presentation and communication — you're in clients' homes every day

n

Credentials needed:

n

- Victorian Private Security Individual Registration
n
- ACMA Open Cabling Registration
n
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- A-grade electrical licence, Gallagher or Control4 experience will be highly regarded.
