About the role

CTS Group is seeking an experienced and reliable A-Grade Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an immediate-start position based in Dandenong, with work across Melbourne.

The role offers a varied mix of electrical work across existing homes, solar installations, commercial fit-outs, multi-residential developments and new builds. The successful applicant must be confident working independently and capable of managing allocated jobs from start to completion.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Residential electrical alterations, upgrades and maintenance
n
- Electrical connections for hot-water installations
n
- Switchboard alterations and upgrades
n
- Solar installations
n
- Commercial fit-outs and multi-residential electrical work
n
- Lighting, power and current circuit installations
n
- Electrical testing, fault-finding and commissioning
n
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
n
- Completing timesheets, certificates and job documentation
n
- Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards and Victorian regulations
n
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised worksites
n
- Working independently or alongside other CTS Group trades when required
n
n
What we're looking for

- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
n
- Ability to work alone and manage jobs independently
n
- Own reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
n
- Own tools
n
- Current Construction White Card
n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
n
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
n
- Good communication and organisational skills
n
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Working at Heights and First Aid certificates are desirable
n
