This opportunity will see you:
n
Weld a wide range of light to medium components
n
Ensure that company welding standards are followed and upheld
n
Plan, organise and prepare for welding work
n
Ensure that the company's workplace health and safety policies are upheld and that obligations are met
n
Work with an energetic team.
n
Suitable applicants will possess the following qualities:
n
Trade qualification as a ticketed welder (this will be required to be presented at the interview)
n
Proven competencies in Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Mild Steel, with high-quality welding ability
n
Proven MIG and TIG experience
n
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
n
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
n
Proven problem-solving skills
n
Well-presented and skilled in all aspects
n
Commitment to the highest WHS and environment standards in all activities, with the ability to apply workplace health and safety policies and procedures
n
Commitment to quality workmanship and concern for job turnaround and customer downtime
n
Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic
n
Ability to follow instructions
n
The ability to work well as an individual or as part of the team
n
The ability to operate at a high level even when under pressure
n
A willingness to work long hours if required
