Diesel Mechanic | Overtime + Allowances + Vehicle

RAM Equipment is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Richmond, South Australia.

n

This is a primarily workshop-based role with occasional field service work, offering variety across a broad range of heavy machinery and equipment. If you're looking for stable, long-term employment, consistent overtime opportunities, and a supportive team environment, this is an excellent prospect. Best of all, there is no FIFO, so you'll be home every night.

About the Role

n

Based in our Richmond workshop, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy diesel equipment
n
- Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsAttending breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime
n




- Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
n
- Assisting with the commissioning and setup of new equipment
n
- Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience (preferred)
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment
n
- Experience working on construction, earthmoving, mining, or industrial equipment (highly regarded)
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technician, or equivalent
n
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience preferred
n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
n
- Experience working on construction, earthmoving, mining, or industrial equipment (highly regarded)
n
- A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum C Class)
n
