About the Role

n

As an Experienced Installer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations of gates, fencing, and automation systems while supervising site works and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

n

You will play a key role in maintaining the reputation that Victorian Gate & Fencing Group is known for across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead installation teams on-site
n
- Install automatic gates, fencing, and access control systems
n
- Read and interpret plans and drawings
n
- Ensure installations meet company quality standards
n
- Maintain safe work practices in line with OH&S; requirements
n




- Coordinate materials, tools, and site readiness
n
- Communicate professionally with customers and management
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
n
- Maintain clean, organised job sites
n
- Complete job documentation, photos, and time logs
n

Essential

- Proven experience installing gates, fencing, or similar trade work
n
- Ability to lead a team and take responsibility on site
n
- Strong problem-solving skills
n
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
- White Card
n
- Current Driver's Licence
n
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
n
- Strong communication skills
n

Highly Regarded

n

- Experience with automatic gates or gate motors
n
- Welding or fabrication experience
n
- Electrical or low-voltage experience
n
- Experience supervising installers or teams
n
- Forklift or machinery experience
n
