Downlands College is seeking applications from qualified teachers registered with the Queensland College of Teachers for a full time, permanent position as a secondary English teacher, commencing with the start of the 2027 academic year.

Requirements

Qualifications to teach Secondary English

Capacity to teach Senior Literature may be advantageous

Capacity to teach Religious Education and/or a second teaching area may be advantageous





Confidence in extending and enriching student learning

Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College is essential

Knowledge and understanding of the AITSL Professional Standards and their relevance to effective teaching and learning
