Your Next Role

Join our expanding operation as an experienced Heavy Diesel / Plant Mechanic, maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of fixed plant, mobile plant and NHVR-regulated heavy vehicles. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a reliable, hands-on mechanic who takes pride in safe, high-quality work and is looking to build a long-term career with a growing business.

Your day-to-day work will include:

n

n
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing fixed and mobile plant
n
- Servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and trucks (Kenworth)
n
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
n
- Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
n
- Breakdown repairs
n
- Identifying potential mechanical issues before they result in downtime
n
- Maintaining equipment to a high standard of safety and reliability
n
- Working both independently and as part of the wider team
n

n

Hours:

n

n
- Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 4:00pm
n
- One Saturday per month is required
n
- Consistent Saturdays optional
n

n

About you

n

n
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification
n
- Experience with diesel engines, heavy vehicles and/or plant equipment
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- A practical, hands-on approach to preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs
n
- A strong understanding of workplace safety and equipment reliability
n
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and contribute to the wider team
n
- A reliable,



professional attitude with strong attention to detail
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Highly regarded: Heavy vehicle or truck licence, forklift licence, NHVR maintenance experience, or experience in civil, transport, quarrying or earthmoving environments
n
