Holloway Aged Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse / Personal Care Worker to join our team on a casual basis . This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents at our Keilor East facility. The role is crucial in delivering high-quality aged care and disability support services, ensuring our vulnerable clients receive respectful, dignified care that enhances their quality of life. As a casual team member, you will have flexibility in your scheduling whilst contributing significantly to our mission of providing exceptional care to those who need it most.

Key responsibilities

- Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting to clients in a respectful and dignified manner
- Assisting residents with mobility, transfers and positioning using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Supporting residents with activities of daily living and promoting their independence where possible
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' physical, emotional and behavioral wellbeing to senior staff
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of care provided and client observations
- Contributing to a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Assisting with mealtimes and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration
- Collaborating with the broader care team to ensure coordinated, person-centered care delivery
- Adhering to infection control procedures, health and safety protocols and aged care standards
- Treating all residents with compassion, respect and cultural sensitivity

What we're looking for

- A qualification as a Personal Care Worker with an aged care qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within the first three months of employment)
- Demonstrated experience working in aged care or disability support settings
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients and staff




- Physical capability to perform manual handling and personal care duties safely
- A genuine commitment to person-centered care and respecting client dignity and autonomy
- Reliability and ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document client information and care provided
- A nonjudgemental, empathetic approach to working with vulnerable and diverse populations
- Knowledge of aged care standards and compliance requirements is advantageous
- Experience with electronic care planning systems is desirable
