An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced indirect tax lawyer to join a major law firm.

This role offers exposure to high-quality, complex matters across a diverse client base while working alongside respected tax specialists.

The Role

You'll advise on a broad range of indirect tax issues across major transactions, restructures and commercial projects spanning multiple industries.

Responsibilities include:

- Advising clients on indirect tax matters, including GST and/or stamp duty.
- Supporting and leading transaction execution alongside multidisciplinary teams.
- Drafting and reviewing legal and transaction documents.
- Managing interactions with government and regulatory bodies where required.
- Building and maintaining robust client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives.

Requirements

- 5+ years' experience in indirect tax gained within private practice,



professional services or an in-house tax function.
- Strong technical knowledge of GST and/or Australian stamp duty legislation.
- Excellent analytical, commercial and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
