Calling all passionate Horticulture candidates (Parks & Gardens, Arboriculture and Sports Turf Management) - WPC Group are working exclusively with multiple commercial contractors and Local Government Councils across Melbourne and we are recruiting for dedicated apprentices. Work towards your nationally recognised qualification while working on a full time basis with exceptional host employers.

The Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship:

n

- Assist in the maintenance and care of parks, gardens, and green areas.
n
- Gain hands-on experience in horticultural practices, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
n
- Learn how to operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools.
n
- Participate in landscape design and implementation projects.
n
- Acquire a deep knowledge of plant species and their specific requirements.
n
- Contribute to the enhancement and sustainability of outdoor spaces.
n
- Collaborate with a diverse team to achieve common objectives.
n
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
n

The ideal Parks & Gardens Apprentice:

n

- Enthusiasm for the parks and gardens industry.
n
- A genuine interest in plants, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance.
n
- Strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
n
- Positive physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n




- Previous work experience and/or Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship - desirable
n
