Job Description

Victim Assist Queensland seeks an Assessor to join the Financial Assistance Unit on a fixed-term basis. The Assessor will be appointed by the Chief Executive as a Government Assessor under the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009 (Section 128).

The role focuses on applying the Act to determine financial assistance to victims of crime, providing authoritative guidance to administrative staff, and ensuring timely service delivery.
