Job Description

As an Expert Field Service Technician, you will deliver field service support to customer sites, performing advanced troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs across mechanical and electrical systems, including complex UV system. We're seeking a technically capable and customer-focused service professional with strong field experience and a commitment to secure work practices.

This role will require travel to customer sites and other Xylem locations as required, typically 30%–60%, including overnight stays.

Key Responsivities:

n

Perform service activities safely and efficiently at customer sites.

n

Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and commissioning on customer equipment.

n

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on water treatment disinfection equipment.

n

Provide technical service support to both customers and service partners.

n

Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a secure and serviceable condition, while supporting compliance with operational procedures, safety standards and customer site requirements.

Experience and capabilities:

n

A Grade Electrical Licence with 3+ years of technical work experience, preferably in water treatment.

n

Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems,



including complex or multi-system equipment.

n

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capability, with the ability to solve complex technical and operational problems.

n

Ability to work effectively with little to no supervision while collaborating effectively in a team.

n

Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly, with a strong customer focus and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
