Industry leading paint manufacturer, based in Seaford, requires an Assistant Accountant. This busy role will be working across multiple group entities, including franchisee group, a USA business in a shared service environment. This 9 month contract plays an significant role in supporting prompt management reporting and manufacturing accounting.

Bank reconciliations

Assist with Accounts payable / Accounts receivable

Cash Audit report / Merchant fee reconciliation

Processing service revenue
n
Assist with Fixed Assets Control
n
Preparing entries for month-end
n
Balance sheet reconciliations
n
Payroll Tax returns
n
BAS preparation
n
Shipment cost control
n
About you
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in medium sized company in a similar role
n
Broad experience in general accounting duties including accounts payable and receivable
n
Good understanding of Standard costing
n
Demonstrated proficiency and accuracy of data entry
n
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
n
High attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities
n
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all areas
n
Eagerness to continually learn and develop new skills
