About the role

n

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our Brisbane team based in Banyo.

n

You'll be joining a small, experienced East Coast recruitment team that works closely with a broader national recruitment division. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who is organised, adaptable and confident managing recruitment in a fast‐paced environment.

n

You will work closely with our operations team to understand workforce requirements, manage recruitment activity and ensure candidates are successfully recruited, onboarded and mobilised to meet project requirements.

n

The role will involve high‐volume recruitment across a range of industries and positions, with a strong focus on maintaining quality talent pools and providing a consistent experience for both candidates and clients.

Key responsibilities

n

- Work closely with the operations team to understand workforce requirements and recruitment priorities, ensuring positions are progressed in line with project start dates.
n
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising, screening, interviewing, shortlisting and processing applications.
n
- Coordinate bulk recruitment campaigns for shutdown crews, project workforces, ongoing casual requirements and internal positions.
n
- Recruit across a range of industries and positions, including both blue- and white-collar roles.
n
- Manage candidate onboarding and mobilisation, ensuring all stages of the recruitment process are completed accurately and on time.
n
- Develop and maintain strong talent pools for current and upcoming opportunities.
n
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and stay across the day-to-day requirements of a high-volume recruitment environment.
n
- Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, clients and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
n




- Support the promotion of Category 5 service offerings to existing and prospective clients.
n
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring recruitment requirements are understood and delivered within agreed timeframes.
n
- Represent Category 5 professionally and with integrity in all candidate and client interactions

- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a genuine focus on people.

- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.

- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team.

- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills and confidence working across recruitment systems and platforms.
n
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
n
- Previous experience in recruitment, labour hire or a similar environment.
n
