The role and you

n

n
- Beresponsible for providing direct care, support and assistanceto residents;
n
- Encourage and promotethe activities program for residents;
n
- Assistresidents to communicate to ensure that the rights, interestsand needs of resident's are met;
n
- Respondto resident's requests for personal care and otherassistance;
n
- Maintainresident records and information, utilising relevant systemsand in line with specified policies and procedures;
n
- Maintaina clean, comfortable, and safe homelike setting for theresident;
n




- Encourage and promotethe independence and freedom of choice ofresidents.

Our Air Force Memorial Estate is set on 11 hectares ofprime land in Bull Creek with landscaped gardens, beautifulparklands, and a picturesque lake. It is home to our twoResidential Care Centres, Alice Ross King CareCentre and Gordon Lodge.

We would love for you to join our Alice Ross-King Care Centre as a Carer. This is a 102 bed, ResidentialCare Centre located on the banks of Lake Howard at raafa's AFME retirement village in Bull Creek. AliceRoss-King Care Centre offers a combination of the higheststandards of individualised care, and we want you to join ourteam.

What you need to do

- HaveCertificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or similarqualification;
n
- Updateyour resume;
n
- Beeligible to work in Australia;
n
- Satisfactory NationalPolice Certificate (on commencement of employment to be withinsix months from date of issue) or willing to obtainone;
n
- Be up todate with your Flu vaccinations;
