- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly, professional and respectful manner
n
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient enquiries, and direct messages appropriately
n
- Schedule and manage appointments, including coordinating with doctors and nurses to support efficient patient flow
n
- Process patient registrations, payments, Medicare claims and other medical billing requirements
n
- Maintain accurate patient records, including scanning, filing and managing incoming correspondence
n
- Provide administrative support to the clinical team and Practice Manager as required
n
- Assist with recalls, reminders and other patient follow-up processes in accordance with practice procedures
n
- Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality, privacy and attention to detail
n
- Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the medical centre
n
- Provide a calm, helpful and professional experience for patients, including during busy periods
n

- Confidence in using computer systems and medical software (desirable but not essential)

- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures would be highly advantageous

- Availability for both opening and closing shifts
