Working within a recent hospital environment in Frankston, this is a hands‐on HR Business Partner role where you will have the opportunity to shape HR operations, partner closely with leaders and help establish a solid people culture from the ground up.

You'll work closely with operational leaders across a diverse, rapid‐paced workforce, providing trusted HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.

The Role
n
Reporting to the senior HR manager, you will act as a trusted HR partner to managers and leaders, providing practical advice across a broad range of employee and industrial matters.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n

- Provide trusted HR advice and coaching to managers across the full employee lifecycle.
n
- Manage and support complex employee relations matters, including investigations, complaints, performance management and disciplinary processes.
n
- Coach and mentor managers to build their confidence and capability in people management.
n
- Provide advice and support in relation to industrial and union matters.
n
- Partner with leaders on performance reviews, employee engagement and workforce planning.
n
- Support recruitment and talent attraction strategies, helping to build strong talent pipelines.
n
- Oversee HR administration, compliance activities, audits and people processes.
n
- Provide guidance and support across workers' compensation and injury management matters.
n
- Assist with training coordination and initiatives that build workforce capability.
n
- Support health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across the site.
n
- Maintain accurate employee records and utilise HR systems to ensure effective people management and reporting.
n
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives aligned with broader business objectives.
n

About You
n
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational leaders and thrives in a fast‐paced environment.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
- 5+ years' experience in a generalist HR / HR Business Partnering capacity.
n
- Strong experience across employee relations, performance management and HR advisory.
n
- Proven ability to coach and influence managers at all levels.
n
- Experience working within a complex, operational or blue‐collar workforce.
n
- Strong understanding of HR policies, processes and compliance requirements.
n
- Excellent communication, relationship‐building and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline are highly desirable.
n
- Experience within a healthcare or hospital environment will be highly regarded.
n
n
You will also be required to successfully obtain a National Police Check and provide evidence of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases.
