On‐Site F/T Correctional LCSW/LPC

MindCare Solutions, a clinician‐owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health care, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide high‐quality mental health services within a corrections facility. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week,
n Compensation: negotiable (dependent on contract type)
n Location: Hudson, CO

Position Summary:

n

n
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations for incarcerated individuals
n
- Provide individual and group therapy to address mental health, substance use, and behavioral issues
n
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical needs
n
- Assess suicide risk and intervene during mental health crises
n




- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
n
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, medical staff, and correctional officers
n
- Make referrals for psychiatric services, medication management, or specialized care
n
- Support discharge planning and reentry coordination (e.g., community resources, housing, follow‐up care)
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and facility standards
n
- Provide crisis intervention and de‐escalation as needed
n
- Educate staff on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and behavioral management strategies
n
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality, and correctional policies
n

Qualifications:

n

n
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in CO where the facility is located
n
- Clinical experience in mental health (corrections, inpatient, or community behavioral health preferred)
n
- Experience with high‐risk populations, including crisis intervention and suicide risk assessment
n
- Knowledge of trauma‐informed care, substance use disorders, and co‐occurring conditions
n
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff
n
- Familiarity with documentation standards, electronic health records (EHR), and regulatory compliance
n
- Understanding of ethical guidelines, confidentiality (HIPAA), and legal considerations in a correctional setting
n
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification may be required (varies by facility)
