Horizon Allied Health Occupational Therapy has been established for over a decade. We are a team of experienced occupational therapists working across paediatrics and mental health, led by a clinical director with over 25 years of clinical experience and with a strong focus on mentoring and quality practice.

We are a stable team of occupational therapists, with many of our OTs having been with the company for several years. We are currently recruiting for an early career occupational therapist position (part-time or full‑time options will be considered).

This is an opportunity to join an expanding OT team at a brand new second location from the start. The position will be based temporary at our established William's Landing clinic and will then transition to a purpose designed occupational therapy clinic in Hoppers Crossing in January/February 2027.

About the Role

The Graduate Occupational Therapist role will involve a combination of paediatric and mental health practice (youth and young adults), providing a diverse caseload and opportunities to develop skills across different areas of occupational therapy with clinical mentoring.

You will work across a range of settings,



including home visits, schools and clinic appointments, supporting clients to achieve meaningful and functional outcomes.

What Your Caseload Could Include:

Paediatric Intervention:

- Complete occupational therapy assessments for children across a range of developmental stages.
- Provide occupational therapy services focused on functional outcomes and individualised client centred goals.
- Develop and deliver engaging, play‑led therapy to support children's participation, independence and everyday functional skills.
- Provide therapy supports and consultation services tailored to each child's needs, strengths and goals.
- Work collaboratively with families, educators and other professionals involved in the child's care.
- Complete progress notes, reports and other clinical documentation.

Mental Health

- Support youth and young adults to work towards their individual goals and improve participation in meaningful everyday activities.
- Provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention and practical strategies tailored to each person's goals and preferences.
- Develop your skills in mental health OT assessments, functional capacity and goal‑focused intervention.

What do you need for the role?

- Degree Qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist is required prior to commencing employment.
- Valid Victorian Drivers license and reliable motor vehicle.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential.
- Current police, working with children and DWES check.
