We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Hoppers Crossing.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified and experienced mechanic who is confident working on heavy commercial vehicles and enjoys diagnosing, servicing and maintaining a modern truck fleet.

The Role

n

You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles, including:

n

- Mercedes-Benz Actros
n
- Sinotruk SITRAK
n
- General heavy vehicle mechanical repairs and maintenance
n
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
n
- Preventative servicing and inspections
n
- Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
n
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a safe and reliable standard
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and confident working independently.

n

Essential:

n

n




- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
n
- Strong heavy vehicle mechanical experience
n
- Experience working on Mercedes Actros and/or Sinotruk SITRAK highly regarded
n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safety
n
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and licences
n
