ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be part of a dedicated team delivering holistic and person centered care to residents across the organisation's aged care facilities. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary team while ensuring each resident's individual care needs are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Conduct resident assessments and develop tailored care plans
n
- Provide safe, respectful and holistic nursing care
n
- Administer and monitor medications
n
- Lead and mentor ENs and personal carers during your shift
n
- Collaborate with doctors and allied health staff
n




- Advocate for residents and promote their wellbeing
n
- Monitor health changes and respond with clinical judgment and critical thinking
n
- Maintain a safe working setting and participate in health and safety initiatives
n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) – essential
n
- AHPRA registration
n
- Aged care experience strongly preferred
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- Passionate about delivering resident focused care
n
- Postgraduate training in aged care or gerontology desirable
n
