About the Role
n
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations across a fast-paced poultry processing site. You'll be responsible for driving safety, supporting your team, and ensuring the plant runs efficiently through strong leadership and technical expertise.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead and oversee all electrical maintenance activities across the site
n
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, regulations and electrical standards
n
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults
n
- Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance tasks
n
- Manage rosters and workforce planning to meet operational demands
n
- Mentor, coach and support the electrical maintenance team
n
- Collaborate effectively with management and production teams
n
- Promote a positive, safe and accountable work culture
n
- Identify plant failures,
equipment issues and material shortages
n
- Analyse data to improve maintenance strategies and downtime reduction
n
- Test, maintain and calibrate sensors, transmitters and control components
n
- Isolate and shut down equipment safely for maintenance works
n
- Complete precision electrical measurements and testing
n
- Interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
n
- Perform required mathematical and engineering calculations
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
- Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical Licence (Essential)
n
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
n
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, compliance and WHS standards
n
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
n
- Ability to interpret technical information and apply sound engineering principles
n
n
