Georgiou is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our NSW Pre-Contracts team and play a key role in securing the next generation of major infrastructure projects.

This is a genuinely senior opportunity suited to a estimator who is comfortable leading complex tenders from pursuit through to submission, developing winning strategies, managing stakeholder relationships and providing leadership to a team of estimators. You will also assume responsibility for mentoring and supporting 2 direct reports while helping drive continuous improvement across our estimating function.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of major tender opportunities and lead estimating activities throughout the bid lifecycle.

n

n
- Leading the preparation and delivery of successful tender submissions.
n
- Developing tender methodologies, pricing strategies and submission plans.
n
- Managing tender programmes and coordinating multidisciplinary bid teams.
n
- Reviewing specifications, drawings, scope requirements and commercial risks.
n
- Driving value engineering initiatives and identifying innovative project solutions.
n
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
n
- Providing leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to junior estimators.
n
- Managing and developing two direct reports within the estimating team.
n
- Supporting business development and project pursuit activities.
n
- Contributing to ongoing improvements in estimating systems, processes and standards.

Your Skills and Experience

n

You're an experienced estimator who thrives in a fast-paced bid environment and enjoys leading teams through complex infrastructure opportunities.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- Significant estimating experience across major civil infrastructure projects, with demonstrated experience preparing and leading TfNSW road infrastructure tenders.
n
- Demonstrated success delivering major tenders from initial pursuit through to submission.
n
- Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring or managing team members.
n
- Excellent commercial acumen and risk assessment skills.
n
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, procurement strategies and project delivery models.
n
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
n
- Exceptional communication, planning and organisational skills.
n
- A collaborative approach and genuine passion for developing people.
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
