Job Description

Plinius Engineering is seeking a motivated and organised Junior Contract Administrator | Document Controller to join the team on a full-time basis in Ballarat to provide administrative support across commercial construction projects.

About the Role

n

Working closely with the Project Management and Estimating teams, you'll support the successful delivery of a wide variety of projects. This role offers hands-on exposure across all stages of project management, and you will play an important role in keeping projects organised, compliant and running smoothly from an administrative perspective.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Supporting Project Managers with the administration of multiple commercial construction projects
n
- Assist with procurement, cost tracking, reviewing invoices and monitoring deliveries
n
- Comprehensively track quality assurance inspections and materials within Tekla PowerFab
n
- Contribute to WHS compliance, project documentation compliance including government reporting
n
- Assisting with labour allocation for project budgeting and cost tracking
n
- Assist with short-term project planning and scheduling
n
- Maintaining accurate project records and document control
n
- Providing administrative support to the Estimating team
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in a commercial construction administration role – highly regarded
n
- An understanding of construction documentation and project administration
n
- Experience with procurement processes
n




- Experience with Tekla PowerFab or similar steel fabrication management software – desirable
n
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
n
- A Diploma in Business Administration, Construction Administration, Project Management or a related field, along with a current driver's licence – essential
n

- $70,000 - $80,000 per annum + Superannuation. Negotiable for the right candidate.
