The Leading Hand Electrician runs a crew on site and delivers premium electrical installations safely, on program, on budget and to a high standard of finish.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a crew of electricians and apprentices on site
- Plan, sequence and allocate daily works to meet project programs
- Act as the main in office contact for builders, site managers and clients
- Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 and relevant Victorian regulations
- Complete testing, verification and Certificates of Electrical Safety (COES)
- Prepare, review and enforce SWMS, and maintain a safe site at all times
- Train, mentor and assess apprentices and junior electricians
- Manage materials ordering, site variations and daily reporting
- Identify and **escalate** issues with scope, design or program early
- Uphold Toma Power Solutions' standard of workmanship and presentation

About you

- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years qualified experience
- Proven experience leading a team and/or running projects
- Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work




- Strong testing, fault-finding and installation skills
- Current Construction Induction (White) Card
- Full Australian driver's licence
- Right to work in Australia
- Experience with smart home systems, CT metering, security systems, dry fire systems (preferred)
- Experience working with builders on luxury residential projects (preferred)
