Digital Performance Lead | Travel | Gold Coast

We're working with a leading travel group on the Gold Coast to find a technically robust Digital Performance Lead to join a busy digital team.

n

This is a genuinely hands‐on role for someone who knows Google Ads, Meta Ads and analytics and can hit the ground running.

n

This isn't about generating clicks, impressions or website engagement.

n

The digital activity feeds directly into a high-volume call centre and sales process, so the focus is on generating quality enquiries, understanding what happens after the click and continually improving the commercial return from digital spend.

What you'll be doing

n

- Manage and optimise Google Ads & Meta Ads campaigns
n
- Monitor and manage significant paid media budgets
n
- Analyse performance using GA4 and other analytics tools
n
- Make data-driven decisions around budget allocation and campaign optimisation
n
- Improve CPL/CPA, conversion and overall ROI
n
- Test, learn and continually refine campaigns
n
- Translate performance data into clear commercial recommendations
n
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams
n




- Support and mentor junior members of the digital team
n

What we're looking for

n

We're open to candidates from travel, retail, e-commerce, hospitality, finance, automotive or any other performance‐driven environment.

n

What matters is that you can demonstrate:

n

- Strong hands‐on Google Ads & Meta Ads experience.
n
- Solid analytics and performance marketing capability.
n
- Experience managing meaningful paid media budgets.
n
- Strong understanding of CPL/CPA, conversion, ROI and ROAS.
n
- Confidence making optimisation and budget decisions based on data.
n
- The ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running.
n
- A genuine understanding of how digital marketing connects to sales and revenue.

Travel experience is a bonus, not a prerequisite.
