ProQuest Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced MR Truck Driver to join a successful and supportive team based at our client's Dandenong South Distribution Centre. This is a great opportunity for an experienced MR driver looking for stable, ongoing Monday-to-Friday work with a well-established operation that places a strong focus on safety, reliability and customer service.

About the Role
n
As an MR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely completing deliveries representing the business professionally and ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
n
You will work alone and at times alongside an offsider and be supported with appropriate equipment to assist with manual handling requirements.
n
n
- Operating an MR truck safely and responsibly
n
- Completing scheduled metro deliveries and collections
n
- Loading and unloading goods safely
n
- Working alongside an offsider
n
- Completing manual handling duties as required
n
- Using support equipment including tilt trolleys and dollies
n
- Ensuring goods are handled and delivered safely
n
- Completing delivery paperwork and following company procedures
n
- Providing professional customer service at delivery locations
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle and work environment
n
- Following all workplace, road and manual handling safety requirements
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and physically capable of performing the requirements of the role.
n
You will have:
n
n
- Current Manual MR Licence - essential
n
- Previous strong MR driving experience
n
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm with OT if required
n
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties
n
- No history of recurring injury that may impact the requirements of the role
n
- Ability to safely load and unload goods
n
- Strong understanding of safe manual handling practices
n
- Excellent reliability and attendance
n
- Robust customer service and communication skills
n
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work effectively alongside an offsider and wider team
n
- Ability to work independently when required
n
- Full Australian working rights - no restricted visas
n
- Ability to speak and understand English clearly
n
- Ability to complete a police check
n
- Available to commence ASAP
n
- Genuine interest in securing long-term, ongoing employment
