About the Role

We're excited to launch our brand-new Helloworld Travel Chadstone store in September/October 2026 and are seeking passionate, customer-focused Travel Consultants to help shape its success from day one.

Key Accountabilities

Reporting to the General Manager of Helloworld Travel Chadstone, you will:

Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to travel enquiries, preparing quotations, and managing bookings.

Utilise in-house booking platforms and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to arrange and confirm travel services.

Promote Helloworld Travel's preferred suppliers, products, and services to maximise value for customers.

Provide ongoing support to customers before, during, and after their travel experiences.

Assist travellers with itinerary changes, disruptions, and alternative travel arrangements when required.

Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business.





Contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets.

Achieve sales and service objectives.

Maintain accurate and timely administration of bookings and customer records.

Support store operations and administrative tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will have the below Experience and Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Travel Consultant within a retail travel setting.

Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and performance objectives.

Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

A genuine passion for travel and helping customers create unforgettable experiences.

Additional Requirements

Helloworld Travel Chadstone operates seven days per week. Team members will work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Some rostered weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) and on-call customer support may be required.

Some interstate and international travel may be required from time to time, including attendance at conferences, training and industry events.

Occasional support may be required outside standard business hours, including assisting customers across different time zones.

Participation in evening trade, consumer and networking events may be required.

A current Australian passport and satisfactory police check are required.

Applicants must hold full Australian working rights.
