Role Description As a Senior Tax Accountant at The Gild Group, you are responsible for the end-to-end client relationship management, administrative and technical planning functions and supervision of a high performing team.

Accountabilities

Commercial

- Manage a book of clients, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
- Support business development initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Partners.
- Contribute to the growth and retention of the client portfolio.
- Achieve agreed productivity targets.
- Ensure scope of work is clear and invoice for any out-of-scope services.

Technical

- Oversee end-to-end delivery of client work and operations, ensuring engagements are completed on time and within scope.
- Conduct quality reviews to maintain high standards.




- Implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.

Client

- Confidently develop and implement effective tax strategies.
- Provide alternative solutions and approaches to meet client needs.
- Communicate key strategies to clients clearly and effectively.
- Use the most appropriate tools and methods to explain complex ideas.
- Foster an workplace where team members feel comfortable sharing opinions.
- Express ideas and perspectives in a way that encourages open dialogue.
- Manage workflow and meet all client and stakeholder deadlines.

Leadership

- Mentor team members so they understand the bigger picture, contribute ideas, and deliver effectively for clients and the Group.
- Support a culture of professional development, growth, feedback, and learning across the Group.
- Drive team performance through coaching and collaboration across divisions, supporting the Group’s strategy, operations, and overall success.

Skills & Experience At least 6 years’ relevant accounting experience. Experience managing a client portfolio unassisted. Registered with Tax Practitioners Board. Certificate of Public Practice (if req’d).
