Job Description

You will become the central operational control point for the Smart SIPs marketing and sales pipeline. You will manage enquiries from the point they enter the business through to qualification, quotation, follow-up and the next identifiable outcome. Enquiries may come from the website, direct telephone calls, email, marketing campaigns, architects, builders, referrals, existing clients or outbound prospecting. You will work closely with the Director and senior sales lead, Drawing Office Manager, Principal Engineer and other members of the technical team. You are not expected to be an engineer, designer or technical SIP specialist. Your job is to understand what the prospect needs, keep the process moving, maintain accurate records, coordinate the right people internally and make sure every genuine opportunity is properly followed through.

Key responsibilities

- Managing incoming website, telephone and email enquiries
n
- Entering and maintaining Contacts, Companies and Deals in HubSpot
n
- Conducting initial lead qualification
n
- Having consultative conversations with prospective clients
n
- Asking good questions to understand client requirements
n
- Requesting drawings and project information
n
- Coordinating quotation requests with internal team
n
- Monitoring quotation progress and issuing completed and approved quotations
n
- Systematically following up quotations and recording client feedback
n
- Maintaining a clean and accurate sales pipeline with defined next actions for every active opportunity
n
- Running outbound email marketing campaigns and managing architect and builder prospecting campaigns
n
- Conducting outbound prospecting by telephone and email
n
- Maintaining HubSpot lists, campaigns,



dashboards and reporting

About you

n

n
- Strong practical HubSpot experience gained in a previous marketing or sales-and-marketing role
n
- Comfortable working across Contacts and Companies, Deals and sales pipelines, Lead Status and Lifecycle Stages, Properties and segmentation, Lists, Tasks and activities, Email marketing, Campaigns, Forms, Dashboards, Reporting, Workflows and basic automation
n
- Previous B2B marketing experience
n
- Experience running email marketing campaigns
n
- Experience with consultative or solution-based selling
n
- Solid customer-focused mindset
n
- Excellent organisational skills and disciplined follow-up habits
n
- Confidence communicating by telephone and outbound prospecting experience
n
- Excellent listening skills and good written communication
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
n
- Experience within architecture, residential construction, building products, engineering, building design, sustainability, property, professional services, manufacturing or specification-based sales would be valuable
