Event Services Australia - Major Fitness Event (Melbourne)

Event Services Australia (ESA) is now recruiting casual event staff to be part of one of Melbourne's largest indoor fitness competitions, taking place this December.

n

This advert is specifically for applicants who are available to work across the full event period.

n

The event will be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 09 to 13 of December 2026.

n

Successful applicants could also have the opportunity to continue working with ESA across a variety of major events and festivals throughout VIC following this event.

n

About the Roles

n

We are seeking reliable, energetic and professional staff to support a range of event operations, including:

n

These roles are rapid-paced and customer-facing, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a high-energy environment.

n

Shift Information

n

Estimated shift times will generally fall into either AM or PM blocks:

n

AM Shift: approximately 6:00am - 2:00pm

n

PM Shift: approximately 1:00pm - 10:00pm

n





These times are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on operational requirements and event scheduling.

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

n

n
- Availability across the full event dates (09-13 December 2026)
n
- A proactive and professional approach to customer service
n
- An interest in health, fitness or the fitness industry (experience in gyms, sport, coaching, CrossFit, endurance events or active environments will be highly regarded)
n
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with participants and spectators
n
- High level of personal presentation and reliability
n
