Front of House Staff – Bikanervala Melbourne

This is an exciting opportunity to join an internationally recognised brand during its launch and expansion in Melbourne.

We are currently offering Casual, Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities for experienced, energetic and customer-focused Front of House (FOH) team members to help deliver the authentic Bikanervala experience to our customers.

n

Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced, professional and structured hospitality environment focused on excellent customer service, efficient operations, cleanliness and a welcoming dining experience.

n

As part of the foundation team, you will play an important role in establishing Bikanervala Melbourne's customer service standards and day-to-day front-of-house operations.

n

Key responsibilities

n

- Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
n
- Welcome customers and assist them with menu selections and enquiries.
n
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
n
- Operate POS systems and process cash, card and other payments.
n
- Serve food, beverages, Indian sweets, Chaat and other menu items professionally.
n
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining, service and counter areas.
n
- Assist with takeaway, dine-in and online orders.
n
- Ensure orders are correctly prepared and delivered to customers.
n
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to support smooth service.
n
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.

About you

n

n
- Minimum 1 year of Front of House, customer service or hospitality experience.
n
- Previous experience in a busy restaurant, café, quick-service restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
n
- Experience with Indian restaurants, sweets, Chaat or vegetarian dining environments will be highly regarded.
n




- Strong customer service and communication skills.
n
- Confident in taking orders and interacting professionally with customers.
n
- Previous experience using POS and payment systems is desirable.
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy and high-volume environment.
n
- Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation and customer satisfaction.
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
n
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.

Competitive hourly rate of $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and employment arrangements.
