Job Description

- Driving HR vehicles across Melbourne and surrounding areas
n
- Loading and unloading event hire equipment
n
- Completing vehicle pre-start inspections
n
- Ensuring loads are correctly distributed, restrained and secured for transport
n
- Safely delivering and collecting equipment from event sites
n
- Maintaining accurate documentation and logbooks where required
n
- Assisting with general warehouse duties, including preparing, packing, checking and storing event equipment
n
- Assisting with loading trucks and preparing equipment for upcoming jobs
n
- Assisting with the installation and dismantling of marquees and event equipment when required
n
- Working as part of the wider warehouse, transport and events team to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and protected warehouse, vehicle and work environment
n
- Carrying out other general labouring and operational duties as required
n

Due to the nature of the events industry, weekend work, early starts and late finishes are at times a requirement of the role, particularly during busy event periods.

About You

n

n
- Forklift licence (preferred)
n
- Demonstrated experience driving heavy vehicles
n
- Good understanding of heavy vehicle compliance
n
- Reliable, professional and works well as part of a team.
n
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling
n
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and on event sites
n
- Willing to assist with general labouring, marquee installation and event setup/pack-down
n
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
n
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours and on weekends and public holidays
