Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Pharmacist to join our growing team at My Botanical Dispensary.

This is not a traditional community pharmacy role. We are a unique, independent non-pbs pharmacy specialising in compounding, medicinal cannabis and personalised patient care. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a varied environment and takes pride in their work.

The Role

n

This is a 4-day-per-week position, with a mixture of opening and closing shifts across our operating hours.

n

You'll be a hands-on Pharmacist who is comfortable balancing patient care, dispensing, clinical responsibilities and team leadership.

We're looking for someone who:

- Is a registered Pharmacist in Australia

- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Has the confidence to give direction and help lead a pharmacy team
n
- Has initiative, drive and a strong work ethic
n
- Is comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
n
- Can work efficiently in a busy environment without compromising accuracy
n
- Is confident communicating with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals
n
- Is comfortable working with medicinal cannabis
n
- Is willing to learn and embrace new areas of pharmacy
n
- Understands the importance of compliance, procedures and attention to detail
n
- Is a team player who is happy to be hands-on and pitch in wherever needed

Medicinal Cannabis

n

Medicinal cannabis is a significant part of our pharmacy, so you will need to be comfortable dispensing and counselling patients who are prescribed medicinal cannabis.

n

Previous experience is preferred, but we are happy to support the right Pharmacist to develop their knowledge and confidence in this area.

n

Compounding experience would be fantastic, but it is not essential.

n





We have an experienced compounding team and can provide training to the right person. If you have an interest in learning the art and science of personalised compounding, this could be a great opportunity to develop your skills in an area of pharmacy that is quite different from traditional community pharmacy.
