About the Department / Program

The Primary Care Supports Program is part of Monash Health's Care in the Home - Ambulatory Care portfolio, delivering multidisciplinary community-based services that help people live independently, safely and well in their own homes and communities.

n

Our service provides evidence-based assessment, therapy, education and support for people living with chronic and complex health conditions across Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia. Through person-centred care, we empower clients to improve their health, maintain independence and remain connected to their communities.

n

You'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, dietitians, exercise physiologists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and other allied health professionals, with access to ongoing professional development, supervision and broad clinical experience across Monash Health Community.

About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Grade 3 Podiatrist to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

n

Working as part of the Primary Care Supports multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist podiatry services across community and outreach settings, supporting clients with a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions.

n

In this role, you will:

n

- Deliver specialist podiatry care, including high-risk foot management, wound care, biomechanical assessment and treatment.
n
- Provide assessment, treatment and education across community-based, centre-based and outreach services.
n
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and improve client outcomes.
n
- Provide clinical supervision and support to Grade 2 Podiatrists.
n




- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
n

This role offers a high level of autonomy within a supportive multidisciplinary team and may suit an experienced Grade 2 Podiatrist ready to step into a Grade 3 position.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience managing high-risk foot conditions and complex podiatry presentations.
n
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Strong clinical reasoning and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Experience providing clinical supervision or a desire to develop leadership capabilities.
n
- A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous career development.

Mandatory requirements:

n

n
- Bachelor of Podiatry, Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) or recognised equivalent.
n
- Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
n
- Current competency in Basic Life Support/First Aid.
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain if required).
n
