About the Client
n
Our client is a well-established Australian healthcare provider delivering essential in-home and community-based services to individuals and families. Due to an increased workload, they are seeking an experienced and immediately available Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a contract through to the end of June 2027.
n
This role will form part of a collaborative Accounts Receivable team, assisting with maintaining accurate customer accounts, resolving enquiries and supporting day-to-day AR operations. The position offers the opportunity to work from home, with working hours of 7:30am–3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Respond to a high volume of inbound calls and emails from customers and internal stakeholders regarding account enquiries
n
- Manage and resolve customer disputes through the organisation's dispute resolution system
n
- Process credit card payments over the phone and manage direct debit form submissions
n
- Reconcile customer accounts and provide account statements upon request
n
- Set up new client accounts and process credit notes as required
n
- Assist with reconciliations and reporting tasks using Excel
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
- Previous Accounts Receivable or finance administration experience required
n
- Solid communication skills and confidence handling customer enquiries
n
- High attention to detail with the ability to reconcile accounts accurately
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Teams and Excel
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
n
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture
n
- Reliable and dependable, with a suitable work-from-home set-up and the ability to work independently and remain connected with the broader team
