Longboards Laidback Eatery & Bar, situated under the iconic Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef to join our energetic team. If you are a qualified chef with a great attitude, a team player, and possess a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

- Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
n
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu and standards.
n
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
n
- Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring proper stock rotation.
n
- Assisting in the ordering and receiving of supplies.
n
- Ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment.
n

Requirements:

n

- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
n




- Formal culinary training and relevant qualifications as a chef.
n
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
n
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team.
n
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
n
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
n
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
n
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
