About the Department / Program

Monash Health Psychology is seeking an exceptional seniorpsychologist to lead our Agile Psychological Medicine (APM) Clinics—aninnovative, psychology-led service transforming the way consumers access mentalhealth intervention.

n

Working across Monash Health's Mental Health Program, theAPM Clinics deliver rapid, evidence-based psychological care for peoplepresenting with acute mental health needs, including suicidal distress andcomplex mental health conditions. Our multidisciplinary teams combine psychological,psychiatric and social work expertise, with a strong commitment to FeedbackInformed Treatment (FIT), ensuring consumer feedback and outcomes drive everyaspect of care.

About the Role

Join us as the Manager, Agile Psychological Medicine Clinics(Grade 4 Psychologist) in this permanent, full-time leadership role.

n

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Victoria's mostinnovative public health psychology services. You'll oversee a largepredominately psychology workforce across multiple sites, shaping the futuredirection of the APM Clinics while ensuring outstanding clinical care,operational excellence and continuous service improvement through a researchagenda.

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Lead and inspire a highly skilled multidisciplinary team ofpsychologists, psychiatrists and social workers.

- Drive an innovative, evidence-based model of care centred onFeedback Informed Treatment (FIT).

- Champion research, quality improvement and serviceinnovation.

- Influence workforce development and strategic serviceplanning.

- Build strong partnerships across Monash Health and thebroader mental health sector.

About You

n

You're an experienced manager and influential psychologistwho thrives in leadership and is passionate about delivering exceptional mentalhealth care.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- Significant management and leadership experience in publicmental health or a complex healthcare setting.
n
- A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliverhigh-performing clinical services.
n
- Expertise in workforce leadership and service improvement.
n
- Experience implementing Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) orother outcome-focused models of care.
n
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skillswith the ability to inspire and influence others.
n
- A commitment to innovation, evidence-based practice andachieving better outcomes for consumers.
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
n
- Endorsement in Clinical or Forensic Psychology.
n
- Psychology Board of Australia approved Supervisor status.
n
- Extensive post-registration experience as a psychologist(Min. 8 years).
n
- Managementand peopleleadership experience
n
- Proven business and performance delivery capabilities.
