We're seeking an engaging and knowledgeable person to join our Sustainable Agriculture team.

n

Located out of our Huntly office (near Bendigo), the Project Officer will work as part of North Central CMA's Sustainable Agriculture team to deliver sustainable agriculture projects.

n

The role will need to respond to the specific requirements of each project and will include assisting project managers with the planning and development of on-farm demonstration sites, working directly with farmers to deliver project activities, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and delivering community engagement activities.

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- Demonstrated understanding of, or experience in the delivery of natural resource management activities such as agriculture, soil health, salinity management, land management, and irrigation management.
n
- Demonstrated ability in the planning and delivery of agricultural extension activities including community engagement, materials and activities to support farmers knowledge and skill development.
n




- Solid written and oral communication skills including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and to liaise with a range of stakeholders, including farmers, landholders, community and partners.
n
- Is self-motivated, demonstrates initiative and the ability to work to timelines and schedules across multiple project tasks.
n
