CCGT is recruiting on behalf of Mountain Community Children's Centre, a warm and welcoming community-based Early Childhood Education and Care Centre located in beautiful Mangrove Mountain, in the Central Coast hinterland.

For 43 years, the centre has supported children aged 0 to 5 years and their families across Mangrove Mountain and surrounding communities. With a relaxed rural setting, a dedicated team and a strong community feel, this is a excellent opportunity to join a workplace where children, families and educators are genuinely valued.

This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week with Rostered Days Off (RDOs).

What You'll Be Doing

n

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will help create a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children feel supported to play, learn and develop.

n

Your day may include:

n

n
- Supporting children aged 0 to 5 years with their learning and development
n
- Creating engaging play-based learning experiences
n
- Building positive relationships with children, families and educators
n
- Supporting daily routines, including meals, rest time, transitions and outdoor play
n
- Encouraging children's curiosity, confidence and independence
n
- Contributing to observations, documentation and learning programs
n
- Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and child‐focused environment
n
- Participating in centre and community events
n
- Working as part of a supportive and experienced educator team
n

What You're Looking For

n

We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys being part of a team.

n

To be considered, you will need:

n

n
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Educator
n
- Current HLTAID012 Education and Care First Aid, with at least 12 months before expiry
n
- Current Working With Children Check
n
- Criminal History Check
n
- Knowledge of Child Safe Standards, Child Protection and Child Safe Code of Conduct
n
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF,



National Law and National Regulations
n
- Confidence using Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to show initiative
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families and the educator team
n
- Driver's licence and own transport, recommended due to the centre's location and limited public transport
n

n

Experience in any education setting will be considered.

n
