Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with a leading automotive company, is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to start their career as a Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice.

n

You'll earn while you learn, gaining a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology while developing your skills in a skilled workshop alongside experienced automotive technicians.

What will you be doing?

n

As an apprentice, you'll develop your skills across a range of automotive tasks, including:

n

- Assisting with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
n
- Learning how to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults
n
- Inspecting and working on brakes, engines, suspension and other components
n
- Using workshop tools, equipment and diagnostic technology
n
- Following technical information and service procedures
n
- Maintaining a clean,



organised and safe workshop
n

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is:

- Passionate about cars and hands‐on work
n
- Keen to learn and build a long‐term career in automotive
n
- Reliable, motivated and safety‐conscious
n
- A strong team player with good communication skills
n
- Interested in developing practical and technical skills
n
- Able to pass a pre‐employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
n
- A current driver's licence is preferred but not essential
n
