Production Manager – ( Manufacturing ) Paint and Packaging

This role is leading and managing CME's paint production, packaging and assembly operations, which is responsible to deliver both finished products which are painted and value added products, with some made within the CME production facilities and some bought in to supply CME's retail customers. In this role you will oversee the equipment, personnel and production resources supporting these operations and ensure that the packaging and assembly lines maintain the required production outputs while meeting quality, safety and customer delivery requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Schedule production and manage and forecast raw material requirements
n
- Organise and plan the labour to meet customer deliveries
n
- Manage the packaging and assembly lines where parts produced are packaged and shipped to customers
n
- Monitor production and quality performance
n
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
n




- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operations
n
- Manage plant KPI monitoring (Production and Quality)
n

About you

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in production or manufacturing management in a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment
n
- Experience in direct people management, leading teams in performance-driven operations with strict quality and safety requirements
n
- Understanding and experience with ISO 22000 (v5.1) compliance
n
- Robust capability in systemic analysis
n
- Proven experience in regulated manufacturing environments
n
- Tertiary qualified with an engineering degree in production or chemicals
n
- Strong background in leadership, team engagement, and operational excellence
n
