Melbourne Snowboard Centre is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Shipping/Warehouse Team Leader to run a small team in efficiently fulfilling orders, receiving and organising stock, and maintaining optimal stock levels at our retail location.

Key responsibilities
n
Oversee and participate in the timely and accurate processing of customer orders from the e-commerce store
n
Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to prioritise and fulfil orders promptly
n
Implement recent, and improve existing, processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in fulfilment, receiving, and warehousing
n
Maintain accurate inventory levels for both e-commerce and retail operations
n
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly
n
Collaborate with the offsite warehouse manager to monitor stock levels and transfer stock as needed
n
Lead a small team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, support, and accountability
n
Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure efficient order fulfilment and stock maintenance
n
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and condition of products before shipment
n
Optimise warehouse usage to accommodate current inventory levels and facilitate future growth
n
About you
n
Minimum of 3 years experience in warehousing
n
Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment
n
Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small team
n
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
n
Familiarity with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
n
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
n
Forklift licence preferred but not essential
n
Knowledge of snowboarding and snowboard products is preferred but not essential
n
